Every year I want to make stockings for our family but I can never decide what I want them to look like. I always thought I wanted all the stockings to match (like they were growing up) so I was just going to wait until we were done having our family to make stockings. When I was talking to my mom about it this year, she told me just to make them all different so I could just make them as the family comes. I think they turned out pretty cute (they look a lot better in person than in the picture). Shawn really loves his stocking even though it's my least favorite. His favorite color is green and he calls the pattern on the cream part treasures. I got a little carried away and actually have two more partially made. My mom won't finish the baby's in case we change the name. Thanks mom for all the help and mainly making them for me. I really love them and I'm so happy to finally have stockings!

Here's a picture of Nate and Shawn before they went out to play in the snow yesterday. Shawn lost his glove while playing and came to the door to have me help put it back on. Out of the blue he said "Mom, you're the bestest mom in the whole wide world." It made my day especially since I hadn't been feeling that well. It also meant a lot because anyone that knows Shawn knows that he is a big daddy's boy and doesn't care as much for me. I love my boys!!!

Adorable, Trish! The stockings look really cute - and I love where you hung them! I've been sad not to have a fire place to hang my stockings and you just made a place for them! Love all the pictures!!!
Trish! I'm glad you came and found me so I could find you! Love the stockings. Very cute.
First of all the stockings are very cute. I wish I was creative. And second, I was reading your post and it said the "babies stocking" are you having another baby? I must have not heard that. If you are yea that is exciting, if not sorry I read it wrong :)!!
Trisha,
You are so talented! Those stockings are adorable! Love em! And I love the comment that Shawn made to you. So cute! I can't wait until Ava can say little things like that to me someday!
